| CVE-2026-87041 | 2026-11-04 | 7.8 High | ||
| The RTIO submission-queue verifier rtio_vrfy_sqe() in subsys/rtio/rtio_syscalls.c (subsys/rtio/rtio_handlers.c before v4.3.0) accumulated the results of K_SYSCALL_MEMORY() into its valid_sqe flag with &=. That macro returns nonzero on failure (it is built on K_SYSCALL_VERIFY_MSG(), which yields !(expr)), so every buffer permission check contributed the opposite of its result. A submission whose tx.buf, rx.buf or txrx.tx_buf/txrx.rx_buf pointer was not accessible to the calling thread was accepted, while a legitimate, thread-owned buffer caused the calling thread to be killed with a kernel oops. The verifier runs on behalf of the rtio_sqe_copy_in_get_handles() system call (also reached through the inline rtio_sqe_copy_in() wrapper), so it is driven directly by untrusted user-mode input on any image built with CONFIG_USERSPACE. A user thread that has been granted an RTIO context and an rtio_iodev object — the intended usage of RTIO userspace support, established via rtio_access_grant() — can submit an SQE whose buffer pointer and length name arbitrary kernel memory; the object check on sqe->iodev is unaffected and still passes, and the crafted SQE is forwarded to the bus driver unchanged. Downstream consumers dereference the pointer with supervisor privilege. The generic I2C and I3C RTIO fallback handlers (drivers/i2c/i2c_rtio_default.c, drivers/i3c/i3c_rtio_default.c) copy sqe.rx.buf/sqe.tx.buf into struct i2c_msg and call i2c_transfer(), and the vendor SPI/I2C RTIO drivers behave equivalently. An RTIO_OP_RX submission therefore has peripheral data written into kernel memory of the attacker's choosing (arbitrary kernel write), an RTIO_OP_TX submission clocks kernel memory out over the bus (kernel memory disclosure), and a pointer to unmapped memory faults the kernel. This is a full escape from the user-mode isolation boundary that CONFIG_USERSPACE exists to enforce. The defect was masked for years because the in-tree user-mode RTIO tests only exercise RTIO_OP_NOP and mempool-backed reads, neither of which reaches the affected checks. The fix negates each K_SYSCALL_MEMORY() result and additionally validates the TXRX transmit buffer read-only, matching the SPI, I2C and I3C handlers. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16511 | 2026-11-04 | 8.8 High | ||
| Two RTIO syscall verifiers, in subsys/rtio/rtio_syscalls.c (subsys/rtio/rtio_handlers.c before v4.3.0), did not validate user-supplied pointers before the kernel wrote through them. z_vrfy_rtio_sqe_cancel() performed no validation at all. It passed the caller's struct rtio_sqe pointer straight to z_impl_rtio_sqe_cancel(), which converts it with CONTAINER_OF to a struct rtio_iodev_sqe, ORs RTIO_SQE_CANCELED (BIT(3)) into its 16-bit flags field in supervisor mode, then loads its next pointer and repeats until that pointer is NULL. The syscall takes no RTIO context argument, so it needs no object grant: any user-mode thread on a CONFIG_USERSPACE build can set that bit in a 16-bit word at an address of its choosing in kernel memory, and the kernel continues the write along whatever pointer chain it finds at the corresponding offset. Setting chosen bits in kernel data structures, such as object permission or thread state fields, can be used to escalate privilege from user mode. z_vrfy_rtio_sqe_copy_in_get_handles() validated its RTIO context and the input SQE array, but only NULL-checked the handle out-parameter before writing a kernel SQE pointer through it, with no K_SYSCALL_MEMORY_WRITE check. A user thread that holds a granted RTIO context can therefore make the kernel store a pointer value at an arbitrary address. The fixes validate the handle out-parameter as writable, bound the cancel handle to real submission-pool storage, and require permission on the RTIO context that owns the matching pool. Without that last check a bounded handle still let any user thread cancel submissions belonging to other contexts, silently aborting their I/O. Systems built without CONFIG_USERSPACE or without CONFIG_RTIO are unaffected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118983 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The VikWidgetsLoader WordPress plugin before 1.12.3 does not sanitise or escape several block attributes before outputting them inside HTML attributes, allowing users with the Contributor role to store arbitrary JavaScript that executes in the browser of any user viewing the affected post, including the administrator or editor who reviews the pending submission. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118783 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The All-in-One Video Gallery WordPress plugin before 5.0.0 does not validate and escape some of its shortcode attributes before outputting them back in a page/post where the shortcode is embedded, which could allow users with the contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118637 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The Simple Download Monitor WordPress plugin before 4.1.3 does not properly check the visibility of the content referenced by one of its shortcodes, allowing users with a role as low as Contributor to disclose the title and description of private, draft and other non-public posts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118523 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The EventPrime WordPress plugin before 4.3.6.1 does not keep the built-in Pending Review post status non-public, allowing unauthenticated users to view posts, pages and other content that are awaiting review. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118422 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The Stape Conversion Tracking WordPress plugin before 2.3.11 does not validate the sub-path appended to its same-origin proxy's upstream endpoint, allowing unauthenticated visitors to redirect the server-side request to an arbitrary host and have the response body and its content type returned from the site's own origin with security response headers stripped, leading to Server-Side Request Forgery, including loopback and internal hosts, and Cross-Site Scripting. | ||||
| CVE-2026-118404 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The Premium Packages WordPress plugin before 7.3.1 does not verify ownership or session binding when loading a previously saved shopping cart, allowing any unauthenticated user who obtains another shopper's saved-cart identifier to load that shopper's cart contents, including selected products, quantities and buyer-entered custom field data, into their own session. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115426 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.138 does not properly validate a backup storage directory path before using it to create directories and write files, allowing administrators to cause those directories and files to be created outside the intended backup location via path traversal. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115262 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The Duplicator WordPress plugin before 5.1.0, duplicator-pro WordPress plugin before 5.1.0 does not restrict its database charset and collation rewrite to schema statements during a restore, so a value a Subscriber stores in their own profile can break out of its string literal and inject SQL into the restore's INSERT statement when an administrator restores the backup onto a server lacking one of the source's charsets or collations. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115257 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The WP Roster WordPress plugin before 2.36 does not perform any capability or nonce checks before writing its stored roster data, allowing unauthenticated attackers to overwrite, wipe or restore the content of any roster. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115250 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The Text Typing WordPress plugin before 2.2.2 does not properly sanitize and escape a block attribute before storing it and later outputting it into a page element that is read and rendered by client-side script, allowing users with the Contributor role and above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks that execute in the browser of anyone viewing the affected page. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115243 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 does not validate the extension of the file it actually stores when handling an import upload: it checks the extension of a separate request field while saving the uploaded file itself with WordPress's upload type-checking disabled, so an authenticated administrator can store a file with an arbitrary extension, including a PHP file, in the WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137's import directory. This is an incomplete fix of CVE-2025-5961, whose extension check was applied to the wrong value. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115242 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 does not sanitize the staging destination folder supplied to its staging-start handler, applying only a generic text filter while the sibling writability-check handler applies the correct filename sanitizer, so an authenticated administrator can supply a path containing traversal sequences and make the WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 write the copied site files outside the WordPress installation directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-115241 | 2026-11-04 | N/A | ||
| The WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 does not verify that a submitted snapshot identifier names a snapshot it actually created before using it as a database table-name prefix, so an authenticated administrator can supply the site's table prefix, or any other string, and cause the WPvivid — Backup, Migration & Staging WordPress plugin before 0.9.137 to drop every matching table, including the core WordPress tables, destroying the site's database. | ||||
