| An out-of-bounds read flaw was found on grub2's NTFS filesystem driver. This issue may allow a physically present attacker to present a specially crafted NTFS file system image to read arbitrary memory locations. A successful attack allows sensitive data cached in memory or EFI variable values to be leaked, presenting a high Confidentiality risk. | ||||

| CVE-2023-42756 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Linux and 1 more | 5 Debian Linux, Fedora, Linux Kernel and 2 more | 2026-11-07 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem of the Linux kernel. A race condition between IPSET_CMD_ADD and IPSET_CMD_SWAP can lead to a kernel panic due to the invocation of `__ip_set_put` on a wrong `set`. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system. | ||||
| CVE-2023-4001 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Grub2, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-07 | 6.8 Medium |
| An authentication bypass flaw was found in GRUB due to the way that GRUB uses the UUID of a device to search for the configuration file that contains the password hash for the GRUB password protection feature. An attacker capable of attaching an external drive such as a USB stick containing a file system with a duplicate UUID (the same as in the "/boot/" file system) can bypass the GRUB password protection feature on UEFI systems, which enumerate removable drives before non-removable ones. This issue was introduced in a downstream patch in Red Hat's version of grub2 and does not affect the upstream package. | ||||
| CVE-2023-3961 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Samba | 8 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 5 more | 2026-11-07 | 9.1 Critical |
| A path traversal vulnerability was identified in Samba when processing client pipe names connecting to Unix domain sockets within a private directory. Samba typically uses this mechanism to connect SMB clients to remote procedure call (RPC) services like SAMR LSA or SPOOLSS, which Samba initiates on demand. However, due to inadequate sanitization of incoming client pipe names, allowing a client to send a pipe name containing Unix directory traversal characters (../). This could result in SMB clients connecting as root to Unix domain sockets outside the private directory. If an attacker or client managed to send a pipe name resolving to an external service using an existing Unix domain socket, it could potentially lead to unauthorized access to the service and consequential adverse events, including compromise or service crashes. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39192 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-07 | 6.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The xt_u32 module did not validate the fields in the xt_u32 structure. This flaw allows a local privileged attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read by setting the size fields with a value beyond the array boundaries, leading to a crash or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39193 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-07 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The sctp_mt_check did not validate the flag_count field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39327 | 2 Redhat, Uclouvain | 4 Ai Inference Server, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Els and 1 more | 2026-11-07 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenJPEG. Maliciously constructed pictures can cause the program to enter a large loop and continuously print warning messages on the terminal. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39191 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 5 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-11-07 | 8.2 High |
| An improper input validation flaw was found in the eBPF subsystem in the Linux kernel. The issue occurs due to a lack of proper validation of dynamic pointers within user-supplied eBPF programs prior to executing them. This may allow an attacker with CAP_BPF privileges to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the kernel. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39194 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-07 | 3.2 Low |
| A flaw was found in the XFRM subsystem in the Linux kernel. The specific flaw exists within the processing of state filters, which can result in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, potentially leading to an information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2023-39189 | 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat | 4 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2026-11-07 | 5.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem in the Linux kernel. The nfnl_osf_add_callback function did not validate the user mode controlled opt_num field. This flaw allows a local privileged (CAP_NET_ADMIN) attacker to trigger an out-of-bounds read, leading to a crash or information disclosure. | ||||
| CVE-2023-3899 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 25 Fedora, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 22 more | 2026-11-07 | 7.8 High |
| A vulnerability was found in subscription-manager that allows local privilege escalation due to inadequate authorization. The D-Bus interface com.redhat.RHSM1 exposes a significant number of methods to all users that could change the state of the registration. By using the com.redhat.RHSM1.Config.SetAll() method, a low-privileged local user could tamper with the state of the registration, by unregistering the system or by changing the current entitlements. This flaw allows an attacker to set arbitrary configuration directives for /etc/rhsm/rhsm.conf, which can be abused to cause a local privilege escalation to an unconfined root. | ||||
| CVE-2023-38559 | 4 Artifex, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 5 Ghostscript, Debian Linux, Fedora and 2 more | 2026-11-07 | 5.5 Medium |
| A buffer overflow flaw was found in base/gdevdevn.c:1973 in devn_pcx_write_rle() in ghostscript. This issue may allow a local attacker to cause a denial of service via outputting a crafted PDF file for a DEVN device with gs. | ||||
| CVE-2023-3758 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 26 Fedora, Sssd, Codeready Linux Builder and 23 more | 2026-11-07 | 7.1 High |
| A race condition flaw was found in sssd where the GPO policy is not consistently applied for authenticated users. This may lead to improper authorization issues, granting or denying access to resources inappropriately. | ||||
