| CVE-2026-112258 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. The XCF loader can leave a dangling pointer in the linked-channels list when a linked channel is later destroyed via a selection property. Opening a crafted XCF file can cause a use-after-free in the main GIMP process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-111555 | 2 Luksmeta, Redhat | 4 Luksmeta, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-21 | 6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in luksmeta. Improper boundary validation of metadata slots allows an attacker capable of supplying or modifying a disk header to redirect wipe or load operations outside the intended metadata area. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a crafted header with valid checksums to overwrite or zero out encrypted payload data, resulting in persistent data loss and corrupted storage. Exploitation typically requires privileged access to modify raw block devices or the ability to induce an administrator to process an untrusted disk image. | ||||
| CVE-2026-85977 | 2 Libtirpc Project, Redhat | 6 Libtirpc, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libtirpc. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted PMAPPROC_DUMP replies to a client application that uses the pmap_getmaps() function against an attacker-controlled host. This unbounded decoding can lead to excessive memory and CPU allocation, causing the client process to experience a Denial of Service (DoS) due to resource exhaustion. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89085 | 2 Gparted, Redhat | 2 Gparted, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 6.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in parted. A heap-based buffer overflow can occur when processing a specially crafted FAT32 filesystem due to an integer calculation error during buffer allocation. A local attacker could exploit this by enticing a user or automated service to open a malicious filesystem image, resulting in an application crash leading to a Denial of Service (DoS) or potential memory corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2026-11332 | 1 Redhat | 20 Acm, Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer and 17 more | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in ansible-core. The ansible-galaxy role install command processes dependency specifications from a role's meta/requirements.yml file. Due to improper neutralization of argument delimiters, a malicious role author can inject arbitrary git configuration flags through the src field. This allows arbitrary code execution on the machine of a user who installs the role via ansible-galaxy role install. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89088 | 2 Gparted, Redhat | 2 Gparted, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in parted. A heap-based buffer overflow exists in libparted's file system resizing logic when handling FAT16 volumes. By convincing a user or administrator to resize a specially crafted FAT16 file system image with malformed directory metadata, an attacker can trigger an oversized read into a fixed-size memory buffer. This issue causes memory corruption, resulting in an application crash and a denial of service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-89096 | 2 Nfs, Redhat | 4 Nfs-utils, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-21 | 5.9 Medium |
| A flaw was found in nfs-utils. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending repeated state notification requests to an exposed rpc.statd service. The service fails to properly release memory allocated during callback processing, leading to continuous memory growth. Sustained requests can exhaust system resources, eventually causing the service to degrade or crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16487 | 2 Bootc, Redhat | 4 Bootc, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 1 more | 2026-10-21 | 8.1 High |
| Red Hat Product Security has determined that this is not a vulnerability in bootc or containers-common. bootc fetches images under /etc/containers/policy.json. The shipped default is insecureAcceptAnything for registries without an explicit signature requirement; registry.redhat.io and registry.access.redhat.com require signatures. Updating a mutable tag requires the ability to publish to the reference an administrator has already configured the host to follow. Requiring signatures is available through that policy and through bootc enforce-container-sigpolicy, which is off by default. Persistence of /var across bootc rollback is expected image-mode behavior. | ||||
| CVE-2026-16460 | 2 Bootc, Redhat | 6 Bootc, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-10-21 | 7.4 High |
| A flaw was found in bootc and ostree. Already-staged deployments are finalized without revalidating the deployment's container image against the current containers signature policy. Unsigned OS content staged under a prior permissive policy can remain bootable after policy is hardened to reject unsigned images, leading to full host compromise on reboot. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112214 | 2 Gstreamer Project, Redhat | 2 Gstreamer Plugin, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 6.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in the GStreamer ASF demuxer in gst-plugins-ugly. When parsing a Simple Index object, an attacker-controlled entry count is used to size a heap allocation without being limited to the payload available in the object. Processing a crafted ASF, WMV, or WMA file can cause a very large memory allocation request and lead to denial of service if the allocation fails or the process is memory-constrained. | ||||
| CVE-2024-10306 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services, Rhel Eus | 2026-10-21 | 5.4 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in mod_proxy_cluster. The issue is that the <Directory> directive should be replaced by the <Location> directive as the former does not restrict IP/host access as `Require ip IP_ADDRESS` would suggest. This means that anyone with access to the host might send MCMP requests that may result in adding/removing/updating nodes for the balancing. However, this host should not be accessible to the public network as it does not serve the general traffic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112260 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 7.1 High |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. Opening a crafted XCF with a malformed text-layer parasite can cause a heap out-of-bounds read, disclosing adjacent heap data into layer text and causing denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112257 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. The PSD thumbnail resource loader performs a BGR-to-RGB channel swap with a fixed 3-byte stride and does not verify that the JPEG thumbnail is RGB. A crafted grayscale PSD thumbnail can cause a heap out-of-bounds read and write in the plug-in process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution when the victim browses or opens the file. | ||||
| CVE-2026-112261 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. Opening a crafted XCF that selects a path and then fails to load that path can cause a use-after-free in the main process, leading to a crash and potentially arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94184 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5.3 Medium |
| A stack-based buffer overflow flaw was found in fetchmail when built with NTLM support. A malicious or compromised mail server advertising NTLM authentication can send a crafted Type 2 challenge that causes fetchmail to write past a fixed stack buffer while building the NTLM authenticate response. This may lead to remote code execution depending on stack-frame layout, or to authentication failure or process termination under memory hardening. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92768 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker to expose sensitive Virtual Machine (VM) credentials, including plaintext passwords, by inspecting process command-line arguments during VM creation or installation. The cockpit-machines component passes password values directly on the command line, making them visible to other local users on systems where process arguments are not restricted. Successful exploitation leads to information disclosure, potentially compromising VM access. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92745 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in cockpit-machines. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect process metadata to disclose a sensitive Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) offline token. The token is exposed when it is passed as a command-line argument to a helper script during the token validation process. Successful exploitation could lead to the compromise of confidentiality, as the exposed token can be used to request access tokens. | ||||
| CVE-2026-92747 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in `cockpit-machines`. This vulnerability allows a local attacker with the ability to inspect running processes to expose sensitive guest virtual machine (VM) credentials, such as `rootPassword` and `userPassword`. This occurs when the `install_machine.py` script passes these credentials as a JSON command-line argument during VM creation or installation. The exposure is limited to the period when the installation workflow is active and depends on host process-visibility policies. | ||||
| CVE-2024-57809 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: imx6: Fix suspend/resume support on i.MX6QDL The suspend/resume functionality is currently broken on the i.MX6QDL platform, as documented in the NXP errata (ERR005723): https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/errata/IMX6DQCE.pdf This patch addresses the issue by sharing most of the suspend/resume sequences used by other i.MX devices, while avoiding modifications to critical registers that disrupt the PCIe functionality. It targets the same problem as the following downstream commit: https://github.com/nxp-imx/linux-imx/commit/4e92355e1f79d225ea842511fcfd42b343b32995 Unlike the downstream commit, this patch also resets the connected PCIe device if possible. Without this reset, certain drivers, such as ath10k or iwlwifi, will crash on resume. The device reset is also done by the driver on other i.MX platforms, making this patch consistent with existing practices. Upon resuming, the kernel will hang and display an error. Here's an example of the error encountered with the ath10k driver: ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: Unable to change power state from D3hot to D0, device inaccessible Unhandled fault: imprecise external abort (0x1406) at 0x0106f944 Without this patch, suspend/resume will fail on i.MX6QDL devices if a PCIe device is connected. | CVE-2024-56544 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-21 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: udmabuf: change folios array from kmalloc to kvmalloc When PAGE_SIZE 4096, MAX_PAGE_ORDER 10, 64bit machine, page_alloc only support 4MB. If above this, trigger this warn and return NULL. udmabuf can change size limit, if change it to 3072(3GB), and then alloc 3GB udmabuf, will fail create. [ 4080.876581] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 4080.876843] WARNING: CPU: 3 PID: 2015 at mm/page_alloc.c:4556 __alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.878839] RIP: 0010:__alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.879470] Call Trace: [ 4080.879473] <TASK> [ 4080.879473] ? __alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.879475] ? __warn.cold+0x8e/0xe8 [ 4080.880647] ? __alloc_pages+0x2c8/0x350 [ 4080.880909] ? report_bug+0xff/0x140 [ 4080.881175] ? handle_bug+0x3c/0x80 [ 4080.881556] ? exc_invalid_op+0x17/0x70 [ 4080.881559] ? asm_exc_invalid_op+0x1a/0x20 [ 4080.882077] ? udmabuf_create+0x131/0x400 Because MAX_PAGE_ORDER, kmalloc can max alloc 4096 * (1 << 10), 4MB memory, each array entry is pointer(8byte), so can save 524288 pages(2GB). Further more, costly order(order 3) may not be guaranteed that it can be applied for, due to fragmentation. This patch change udmabuf array use kvmalloc_array, this can fallback alloc into vmalloc, which can guarantee allocation for any size and does not affect the performance of kmalloc allocations. | ||||
