CVSS v3.1 |
| Node Version Manager (nvm) is a POSIX-compliant shell function for managing multiple node.js versions. In versions 0.31.2 through 0.40.5, `nvm_ls` filters installed versions with a sed program that embeds the requested version pattern in a `\#...#` address, escaping `.` (and, since 0.40.4, `#`) but not backslash. A version string containing `#` (or `\#`) therefore closes the address early, and the rest of it is parsed as sed commands: with GNU sed, the `e` command runs a shell command as the user; with BSD sed, the `w` and `r` commands write and read files. This is reachable whenever an attacker-influenced version string is passed to `nvm use`, `nvm which`, `nvm ls`, `nvm version`, `nvm run`, or `nvm exec`, or to `nvm-exec` via `NODE_VERSION`, and at least one version is installed. nvm's own `.nvmrc` parser strips comments, so a bare `nvm use` is not affected; however, the bash `cdnvm` and zsh `load-nvmrc` auto-switch hooks documented in the README read `.nvmrc` as-is and pass it to `nvm ls` and `nvm version`, so a user with one of those hooks installed runs the attacker's command just by changing into a directory under a malicious `.nvmrc`; scripts that run `nvm use "$(cat .nvmrc)"` are affected the same way. Version 0.40.6 passes any version pattern containing `#` or a newline through the `.nvmrc` content parser first, so no `#` reaches the sed program. |
| In openEQUELLA before 2026.1, the system.execute() function available to the scripting engine runs supplied operating system commands without validation or an allow-list of permitted executables. A user able to create or edit scripts can use it to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the openEQUELLA service account. |
| CFITSIO through 4.7.0 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in ffgcls2() in getcols.c that trusts attacker-controlled heap descriptor lengths for variable-length string columns. Attackers can supply a crafted FITS file that overflows a fixed 28,800-byte stack buffer and the caller's string array, enabling arbitrary code execution. |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the FireCluster Sync processing allows an attacker positioned on the cluster interconnect, such as a compromised cluster peer or an on-path network attacker, to repeatedly crash the firewall's cluster synchronization process by sending specially crafted network traffic, resulting in a sustained denial of service. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.80, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Denial of service. |
| Memory allocation with excessive size value in the MQTT 3.1.1 compatibility adapter in AWS aws-c-mqtt before 0.16.2 might allow a remote actor to cause a denial of service of the client application.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to aws-c-mqtt 0.16.2 or later, or to an AWS Common Runtime or AWS IoT Device SDK release that bundles it. |
| The BPMN System REST APIs do not sufficiently validate input parameters, allowing authenticated users to submit crafted requests that can lead to the execution of arbitrary commands on the server.
An authenticated user can leverage this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the product's runtime account. The scope of potential damage is contingent upon the permissions assigned to this account. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in nipy nibabel up to 5.4.2. The affected element is the function array_from_file of the file nibabel/volumeutils.py of the component Header Handler. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled memory allocation. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| A weakness has been identified in nschloe meshio up to 5.3.5. Impacted is an unknown function of the file meshio/_vtk_42.py of the component VTK Reader. Executing a manipulation of the argument DIMENSIONS can lead to uncontrolled memory allocation. The attack can be executed remotely. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| Volmarg Personal Management System through 2.1.0 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows authenticated users to execute shell commands via unescaped folder paths in the storage module's tree command. Attackers can create a directory under upload/files containing shell metacharacters such as $(...) and then move or copy it, running commands as the web server user. |
| AVideo is a video-sharing Platform. Prior to 8.1.0, the live-streaming endpoint `view/videosListToLive.php` accepts an attacker-named streamer in `webSiteRootURL`, calls `Login::run` in `objects/Login.php`, and trusts the returned JSON as session state. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can host an HTTP service reachable by the encoder can self-grant `isLogged` and `canStream` without legitimate credentials. The endpoint requires only nonempty `playlists_id` and `APISecret` values; `APISecret` is forwarded rather than checked against a stored secret. This path never calls `Streamer::isURLAllowed` and therefore works regardless of the operator's streamer allowlist. It fetches a second attacker-controlled video-list response and interpolates `videos[].path` without shell argument escaping into `ffprobe` and `ffmpeg` commands passed to `exec`; `isAudio` calls `isVideo` to reach the `ffprobe` command. Paths containing shell delimiters execute arbitrary operating-system commands as the web-server user. The request filter does not inspect the video-list JSON. This can disclose database and stored streamer credentials, compromise the upstream platform using those credentials, modify files owned by the web-server user, establish persistence, and deny encoder service. This issue is fixed in version 8.1.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: sr: restore network header before routing and forwarding
ipv6_srh_rcv() runs with skb->data at the Segment Routing Header (SRH)
while skb_network_header() points at the IPv6 header.
When segments_left > 0, ipv6_srh_rcv() previously restored the skb->data
position by pushing sizeof(struct ipv6hdr), assuming the SRH immediately
followed the fixed IPv6 header. If another extension header (such as a
Hop-by-Hop options header) precedes the SRH, skb_network_offset()
remained negative.
This led to two problems:
1. During ip6_route_input(), fib6_rules_early_flow_dissect() invokes
__skb_flow_dissect() which passes the negative skb_network_offset()
to flow dissection, breaking BPF and C flow dissector logic.
2. If forwarded via ip6_forward() or redirected via act_mirred, downstream
handlers (like sch_fragment() or neighbour output) pass the negative
offset as an unsigned length, triggering OOB memcpy or buffer overflows.
Fix this by pushing -skb_network_offset(skb) before routing, ensuring
skb_network_offset(skb) is 0 for route lookup / flow dissection as well as
downstream forwarding. On the loopback path, pull skb_transport_offset(skb)
to restore skb->data to the SRH before looping back. |
| The root-privileged `wsserver` terminal-bridge daemon builds a shell command from client-supplied WebSocket fields and passes it to `system()` and `popen()` without quoting, escaping, or character-set validation. The daemon's public-key session path performs no appliance-session check. |
| **UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED** Unbounded allocation in XML parsing in Apache Vysper; all versions, may lead to an out of memory condition.
This issue affects all versions of Apache Vysper. Apache Vysper is an XMPP (Jabber) server library.
As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative. |
| In apache-airflow-providers-ssh before 7.0.1, SSHRemoteJobOperator quoted the values of its templated `environment` parameter only once, although they are placed inside an already-quoted wrapper script, so shell syntax such as `$(...)` in a value was executed on the remote SSH host. In a Dag that passes trigger-time input such as `params` or `dag_run.conf` into `environment`, a user who can trigger that Dag but cannot author Dags could run arbitrary commands on the remote host as the SSH connection's user. Users are advised to upgrade apache-airflow-providers-ssh to 7.0.1 or later. |
| DevilutionX 1.4.0 through 1.5.5 contains a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the bundled libmpq libmpq__archive_dup routine when opening crafted MPQ archives. Attackers can supply an MPQ archive whose block table count exceeds its hash table count, causing memcpy to overflow the heap during startup and crash the game. |
| An OS command injection vulnerability exists because of insufficient input filtering. An attacker can inject a command payload into a BMC function; the payload may execute when the related service is restarted. |
| This issue may allow an IPMI authenticated administrator to execute commands as the operating system root user on the BMC |
| NVIDIA PhysX for all platforms contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an out-of-bounds write. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, data tampering, denial of service, information disclosure. |
| The ai-sdlc plugin MCP server through 0.31.2 contains an OS command injection vulnerability that allows attackers to execute commands by supplying shell metacharacters in the repo argument. The unvalidated repo value is interpolated into gh issue view or gh pr view commands run via execSync(), letting prompt-injected agents execute commands as the MCP server user. |
