| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bnxt_en: Fix double DMA unmapping for XDP_REDIRECT
Remove the dma_unmap_page_attrs() call in the driver's XDP_REDIRECT
code path. This should have been removed when we let the page pool
handle the DMA mapping. This bug causes the warning:

| A flaw was found in GNU nano's multi-buffer error message handling. When a user opens multiple files at startup and one triggers an ALERT-level error, a specially crafted filename containing printf format specifiers can be reinterpreted. This format string vulnerability may allow an attacker to achieve stack information disclosure, cause a denial of service (crash), or potentially perform arbitrary memory writes. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/gsc: Fix double-free of managed BO in error path
The error path in xe_gsc_init_post_hwconfig() explicitly frees a BO
allocated with xe_managed_bo_create_pin_map() via
xe_bo_unpin_map_no_vm(). Since the managed BO already has a devm
cleanup action registered, this causes a double-free when devm
unwinds during probe failure.
Remove the explicit free and let devm handle it, consistent with
all other xe_managed_bo_create_pin_map() callers.

A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure and denial of service. |
| Object lifecycle issue in WebRTC in Google Chrome prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| A format string vulnerability was found in the Internal Backup on the ADM. The vulnerability occurs because user-controlled task input may be included in an error response and processed through an unsafe format string operation. An authenticated attacker can exploit this issue to disclose memory information or cause denial of service of the affected CGI process.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RUN1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.3.RI81. |
| A format string vulnerability was found in the Rsync Backup on the ADM. The vulnerability occurs because user-controlled rsync backup configuration or log data may be processed through an unsafe format string operation. An authenticated attacker can exploit this issue to disclose memory information or cause denial of service of the affected backup component.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RUN1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.3.RI81. |
| A format string vulnerability was found in the Notification OAuth settings of ADM. The vulnerability occurs because user-controlled notification configuration input may be processed through an unsafe format string operation. An authenticated administrator can exploit this issue to disclose memory information or cause denial of service of the affected component.
Affected products and versions include: from ADM 4.1.0 through ADM 4.3.3.RUN1 as well as from ADM 5.0.0 through ADM 5.1.3.RI81. |
| A stored format string vulnerability was found in the FTP Backup on the ADM. The vulnerability occurs because user-controlled backup configuration data may be written into a task log and later processed through an unsafe format string operation.
| Notepad++ 8.9.3 contains a format string injection vulnerability in the Find Results panel handler that allows attackers to cause denial of service and information disclosure by crafting a malicious nativeLang.xml language pack file. Attackers can distribute a poisoned language pack through community channels that triggers format string interpretation when a user performs search operations, leading to access violations and potential leakage of stack or register contents. |
| libssh2 through 1.11.1, fixed in commit 5e47761, contains a double-free vulnerability in the sftp_open() function in src/sftp.c that allows a malicious SSH server to corrupt the heap of any authenticated client opening an SFTP session. When a server responds to SSH_FXP_OPEN with SSH_FXP_STATUS containing FX_OK, the response data buffer is freed, and if a subsequent sftp_packet_require() call returns a specific error such as LIBSSH2_ERROR_CHANNEL_PACKET_EXCEEDED, the same pointer is freed a second time, enabling tcache dup conditions on glibc systems that allow overlapping allocations and function pointer overwrites. |
| Lorex 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Security Camera CDeviceOperator Format String Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows network-adjacent attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of Lorex 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Security Cameras. Authentication is not required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of JSON requests in the sonia binary. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it as a format specifier. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-25884. |
| FreeRDP before 3.28.0 (affected 3.x through 3.27.1) contains a double-free vulnerability in freerdp_client_rdp_file_apply_to_settings() (client/common/file.c) when parsing the selectedmonitors field of a .rdp connection file. The MonitorIds array is allocated through the settings object, and a raw non-owning pointer to it is freed on the strtoul error path without clearing settings->MonitorIds, leaving it dangling; at teardown freerdp_settings_free() frees the same buffer again. An attacker who convinces a victim to open a crafted .rdp file with oversized monitor tokens can trigger a size-controlled double-free in any FreeRDP CLI client (xfreerdp/sdl-freerdp/wlfreerdp) in the default configuration. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: ath11k: fix warning when unbinding
If there is an error during some initialization related to firmware,
the buffers dp->tx_ring[i].tx_status are released.
However this is released again when the device is unbinded (ath11k_pci),
and we get:
WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 6231 at mm/slub.c:4368 free_large_kmalloc+0x57/0x90
Call Trace:
free_large_kmalloc
ath11k_dp_free
ath11k_core_deinit
ath11k_pci_remove
...
The issue is always reproducible from a VM because the MSI addressing
initialization is failing.
In order to fix the issue, just set the buffers to NULL after releasing in
order to avoid the double free. |
| YAML::Syck versions before 1.47 for Perl allow a use-after-free and double-free via an anchor node freed while still on the parser value stack.
In the bundled libsyck, when an anchor name is redefined or removed, syck_hdlr_add_anchor and syck_hdlr_remove_anchor free the node stored under that name with syck_free_node. That node can still be live on the parser's value stack, so syck_hdlr_add_node reaches it again and frees it a second time. On a normal build the 48-byte node chunk is freed twice and the interpreter aborts. Anchors need no special flags, so this is reached on the default Load path, and a 7-byte document that redefines an anchor triggers it.
Any caller that runs Load or LoadFile on an untrusted document that redefines an anchor mid-parse crashes the interpreter, a denial of service. |
| ComSndFTP FTP Server version 1.3.7 Beta contains a format string vulnerability in its handling of the USER command. By sending a specially crafted username containing format specifiers, a remote attacker can overwrite a hardcoded function pointer in memory (specifically WSACleanup from Ws2_32.dll). This allows the attacker to redirect execution flow and bypass DEP protections using a ROP chain, ultimately leading to arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability is exploitable without authentication and affects default configurations. |
| The curl logic that works with SASL authentication could end up cleaning up
the GSASL context *twice* without clearing the pointer in between, making it
`free()` the same pointer twice. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Open Asset Import Library Assimp up to 6.0.4. Affected is the function Assimp::Exporter::ExportToBlob of the file code/AssetLib/Ply/PlyLoader.cpp of the component PLY Model Handler. This manipulation causes double free. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mailbox: mailbox-test: don't free the reused channel
The RX channel can be aliased to the TX channel if it has a different
MMIO. This special case needs to be handled when freeing the channels
otherwise a double-free occurs. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: avoid double drm_exec_fini() in userq validate
When new_addition is true, amdgpu_userq_vm_validate() calls
drm_exec_fini(&exec) before iterating over the collected HMM ranges and
calling amdgpu_ttm_tt_get_user_pages().
If amdgpu_ttm_tt_get_user_pages() fails in that path, the code jumps to
unlock_all and calls drm_exec_fini(&exec) a second time on the same
exec object. drm_exec_fini() is not idempotent: it frees exec->objects
and may also drop exec->contended and finalize the ww acquire context.
Route that error path directly to the range cleanup once exec has
already been finalized.
Issue found using a prototype static analysis tool
and confirmed by code review.
