CVSS v3.1 |
| An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. A remote attacker can obtain cleartext content by sending an encrypted data block (that the attacker cannot directly decrypt) to a victim, and relying on the victim to automatically decrypt that block and then send it back to the attacker as quoted text, aka the TBE-01-005 "replay" issue. |
| An issue was discovered in SMA Solar Technology products. By sniffing for specific packets on the localhost, plaintext passwords can be obtained as they are typed into Sunny Explorer by the user. These passwords can then be used to compromise the overall device. NOTE: the vendor reports that exploitation likelihood is low because these packets are usually sent only once during installation. Also, only Sunny Boy TLST-21 and TL-21 and Sunny Tripower TL-10 and TL-30 could potentially be affected |
| An issue was discovered in Moxa MiiNePort E1 versions prior to 1.8, E2 versions prior to 1.4, and E3 versions prior to 1.1. Configuration data are stored in a file that is not encrypted. |
| TYPO3 7.6.15 sends an http request to an index.php?loginProvider URI in cases with an https Referer, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive cleartext information by sniffing the network and reading the userident and username fields. |
| An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 11 is affected. macOS before 10.13 is affected. The issue involves the "Mail Drafts" component. It allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by reading unintended cleartext transmissions. |
| The Go SSH library (x/crypto/ssh) by default does not verify host keys, facilitating man-in-the-middle attacks. Default behavior changed in commit e4e2799 to require explicitly registering a hostkey verification mechanism. |
| An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. iOS before 11 is affected. The issue involves the "MobileBackup" component. It allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive cleartext information in opportunistic circumstances by leveraging read access to a backup archive that was supposed to have been encrypted. |
| Vulnerability in the MySQL Server component of Oracle MySQL (subcomponent: Server: C API). Supported versions that are affected are 5.5.55 and earlier and 5.6.35 and earlier. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise MySQL Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all MySQL Server accessible data. CVSS 3.0 Base Score 5.3 (Confidentiality impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N). NOTE: the previous information is from the April 2017 CPU. Oracle has not commented on third-party claims that this issue allows man-in-the-middle attackers to hijack the authentication of users by leveraging incorrect ordering of security parameter verification in a client, aka, "The Riddle". |
| An issue was discovered in certain Apple products. The Apple Support app before 1.2 for iOS is affected. The issue involves the "Analytics" component. It allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive analytics information by leveraging its presence in a cleartext HTTP transmission to an Adobe Marketing Cloud server operated for Apple, as demonstrated by information about the installation date and time. |
| IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management Server 11.0 - 11.6 stores user credentials in plain in clear text which can be read by a local user. IBM X-Force ID: 125463. |
| Incorrect access control in TP-Link Tapo before v3.1.315 allows attackers to access user credentials in plaintext. |
| An issue was discovered in Sesami Cash Point & Transport Optimizer (CPTO) version 6.3.8.6 (#718), allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via transmission of unencrypted, cleartext credentials during Password Reset feature. |
|
IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.0 through 10.1.12 discloses sensitive information due to unencrypted data being used in the communication flow between Spectrum Protect Plus vSnap and its agents. An attacker could obtain information using main in the middle techniques. IBM X-Force ID: 182106.
|
| Due to usernames/passwords being stored in plaintext in Random Access Memory (RAM), a local, authenticated attacker could gain access to certain credentials, including Windows Logon credentials. |
| Pentaminds CuroVMS v2.0.1 was discovered to contain exposed sensitive information. |
| Insights for Vulnerability Remediation (IVR) is vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks that may lead to information disclosure. This requires privileged network access.
|
| The affected product is vulnerable due to cleartext transmission of credentials seen in the CIMPLICITY network, which can be easily spoofed and used to log in to make operational changes to the system. |
| ISaGRAF Workbench communicates with Rockwell Automation ISaGRAF Runtime Versions 4.x and 5.x using TCP/IP. This communication protocol provides various file system operations, as well as the uploading of applications. Data is transferred over this protocol unencrypted, which could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to upload, read, and delete files. |
| AVEVA System Platform 2020 stores sensitive information in cleartext, which may allow access to an attacker or a low-privileged user. |
| LRM version 2.4 and lower does not implement TLS encryption. A malicious actor can MITM attack sensitive data in-transit, including credentials. |
