CVSS v3.1 |
| XStream is a Java library to serialize objects to XML and back again. In XStream before version 1.4.16, there is vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker to allocate 100% CPU time on the target system depending on CPU type or parallel execution of such a payload resulting in a denial of service only by manipulating the processed input stream. No user is affected who followed the recommendation to setup XStream's security framework with a whitelist limited to the minimal required types. If you rely on XStream's default blacklist of the Security Framework, you will have to use at least version 1.4.16. |
| Docling simplifies document processing by parsing diverse formats and providing integrations with the generative AI ecosystem. From 2.45.0 until 2.131.0, METS-GBS format detection in docling/datamodel/document.py and the backend in docling/backend/mets_gbs_backend.py call tarfile.TarFile.getmembers() before enforcing the max_member_count limit, causing the full archive member list to be allocated before the limit can stop processing. A small gzip-compressed tar archive with a very large number of empty members can therefore consume memory proportional to the declared member count, including during format detection before the allowed_formats restriction is applied. This issue is a residual weakness in the member-count protection added for CVE-2026-44018. This issue is fixed in 2.131.0. |
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.0, 11.8.x <= 11.8.4, 11.7.x <= 11.7.8, 10.11.x <= 10.11.22 fail to limit the nesting depth in the server-side Markdown parser which allows an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service (CPU resource exhaustion) via a crafted post containing deeply nested blockquotes or list items.. | Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.0, 11.8.x <= 11.8.4, 11.7.x <= 11.7.7, 10.11.x <= 10.11.22 fail to limit the amount of memory allocated when decoding uploaded image files which allows an authenticated user to cause excessive server memory consumption and potential denial of service via uploading a specially crafted image as a profile picture, channel file attachment, team icon, or custom brand image. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00719 |
| Mattermost versions 11.9.x <= 11.9.0, 11.8.x <= 11.8.4, 11.7.x <= 11.7.7, 10.11.x <= 10.11.22 fail to limit size of unpacked SDP messages compressed with zlib, which allows attacker to deny service or crash server via sending many SDP messages that unpack to large size.. | In qsort of libufdt_sysdeps_vendor.c, there is a possible out-of-bounds write due to resource exhaustion. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A resource exhaustion vulnerability in Kiteworks Email Protection Gateway allowed an unauthenticated remote attacker to repeatedly trigger a comparatively expensive server-side operation, causing a partial denial of service. |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.28.0, request bodies for Chat Completions and Responses can set media_io_kwargs.video.video_backend to pynvvideocodec, and MediaConnector.fetch_video forwards that choice to VideoMediaIO even when startup configuration selected a software decoder. The engine's _reserve_mm_ipc_gpu_memory logic budgets decoder memory only from static configuration, so the request-selected VIDEO_LOADER_REGISTRY backend can create a CUDA context, decoder surfaces, and decoded-frame allocations that were not removed from the engine's KV-cache budget. An attacker able to submit video requests to a video-capable GPU deployment with PyNvVideoCodec installed can exhaust shared GPU memory, causing request failures, worker crashes, or denial of service. The first release containing the fix is version 0.28.0. |
| Mini-XML 4.0.5 contains a memory leak vulnerability in mxml_load_data() during malformed XML parsing. Specially crafted XML input can cause text nodes allocated by mxmlNewText() to become unlinked before a parse error transfers control to the cleanup path. These orphaned nodes are not released, resulting in a persistent memory leak on each parsing attempt. Repeated attacker-controlled requests can cause cumulative memory exhaustion and denial of service. |
| An issue was discovered in Django 6.1 before 6.1.2, 6.0 before 6.0.9, and 5.2 before 5.2.18.
`django.utils.http.parse_header_parameters()` was subject to a potential denial-of-service attack due to quadratic time complexity when parsing a value with many separators inside a quoted parameter. An unauthenticated request could reach this parsing through headers such as `Accept` or `Content-Type`, for instance via the content negotiation performed by `HttpRequest.accepts()`. The per-call length limit does not bound the combined size of repeated headers.
Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.1.x, 5.0.x, and 4.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected.
Django would like to thank Jisung Chae for reporting this issue. |
| An uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the Fireware OS login process (wgagent) allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted request. |
| A missing authorization vulnerability in the wgagent management daemon's session initialization function allows an authenticated, low-privileged user (including a read-only or guest administrator account) to crash the wgagent process and read arbitrary files accessible to the daemon by submitting a specially crafted management API request. |
| A flaw was found in Keycloak. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger an application level Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a highly compressed SAMLRequest through the SAML Redirect Binding. The server fails to enforce size limits during DEFLATE decompression, leading to an OutOfMemoryError (OOM) and subsequent process termination. This vulnerability allows an attacker to disrupt the availability of the service. |
| A flaw has been found in vllm-project vLLM up to 0.26.0. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file rust/src/parser/src/unified/gemma4.rs of the component Gemma4UnifiedParser. Executing a manipulation can lead to denial of service. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 0.29.1rc0 is able to resolve this issue. This patch is called 3439bad37e68ba9755a46f4f6b44a4aeaf1f60a9. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption (CWE-400) in Elasticsearch can lead denial of service via Excessive Allocation (CAPEC-130) |
| js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. Prior to 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1, YAML11_SCHEMA support for the !!omap tag in src/tag/sequence/omap.ts uses omapTag.addItem() to perform a linear duplicate-key scan on every insertion, causing O(n^2) CPU consumption when yaml.load() parses a crafted ordered-map document. In v3 and v4, !!omap is active and exploitable by default. v5 doesn't use !!omap by default, and the chances of activating it are very low.This issue is fixed in 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: fix the possible bioc_list memory leak during error
There are two possible ways to leak bioc memory on
btrfs_ordered_extent::bioc_list:
- An error occurred for btrfs_insert_one_raid_extent()
Then the function btrfs_insert_raid_extent() immediately return
without freeing any bioc in the bioc_list.
- An ordered extent hit an IO error
In that case the ordered extent will have BTRFS_ORDERED_IOERR set, and
skip the call on btrfs_insert_raid_extent() completely.
Fix the problem by:
- Introduce a new helper, btrfs_cleanup_ordered_bioc_list()
Which will remove all bioc from the bioc_list, and release the bioc.
- Call the above helper for btrfs_insert_raid_extent()
So that the cleanup helper is always called no matter what.
- Call the above helper for btrfs_finish_one_ordered()
This is called just before the final release on the ordered extent.
This was reported by Sashiko when reviewing another patch. |
| Fleet is an open source osquery manager. In Fleet before version 3.7.0 a malicious actor with a valid node key can send a badly formatted request that causes the Fleet server to exit, resulting in denial of service. This is possible only while a live query is currently ongoing. We believe the impact of this vulnerability to be low given the requirement that the actor has a valid node key. There is no information disclosure, privilege escalation, or code execution. The issue is fixed in Fleet 3.7.0. |
