CVSS v3.1 |
| Aspose PDF Exporter plugin for WordPress before 2.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to download files through the unsanitized 'file' parameter passed to readfile(). Attackers can send GET requests to aspose_pdf_exporter_download.php with traversal sequences like ../../../wp-config.php to retrieve WordPress database credentials. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-19. |
| TinyMCE Thumbnail Gallery plugin for WordPress before 1.1.0 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read arbitrary files via the href parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /php/download-image.php with traversal sequences like ../../../../wp-config.php to retrieve database credentials and system files. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-19. |
| An improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('path traversal') vulnerability in Fortinet FortiMail 8.0.0 through 8.0.1, FortiMail 7.6.0 through 7.6.6, FortiMail 7.4.0 through 7.4.8, FortiMail 7.2.0 through 7.2.9, FortiMail 7.0 all versions may allow an unauthenticated attacker to write arbitrary files on the underlying system via crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests. |
| Improper access control in Windows Projected File System allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. |
| Dulwich before 1.2.9 fails to validate DOS drive letter prefixes in Git tree path elements on Windows, allowing arbitrary file write. Attackers can craft a malicious repository with a tree entry named 'C:' that bypasses NTFS validation and writes files outside the worktree to achieve remote code execution. |
| djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. From 0.9.0 until 1.0.10, 1.1.7, 1.2.4, and 1.3.0rc8, the find_handlers_for_template MCP tool in python/djust/mcp/server.py accepts an existing absolute template_path and reads it without restricting the resolved path to the project or configured template directories. A local MCP client can use the tool as a file existence and readability oracle and can obtain substrings that match the tool's dj-click, dj-submit, dj-change, dj-input, dj-keydown, or dj-keyup attribute pattern from files readable by the djust process. The maintainer assessment states that the MCP server communicates over local stdio as the same operating-system user and has no network listener, and the tool does not return arbitrary raw file contents. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.10, 1.1.7, 1.2.4, and 1.3.0rc8. |
| Cherry Plugin for WordPress before 1.2.7 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to download arbitrary files via the 'file' parameter. Attackers can send GET requests to /admin/import-export/download-content.php with traversal sequences like ../../../../../wp-config.php to read database credentials, since the script passes input directly to readfile(). Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2023-10-19. |
| In Progress® Telerik® Document Processing Libraries prior to version 2026.3.1027, a path traversal vulnerability in the Convert and Merge AI agent tools allows an authenticated attacker with low privileges who can supply tool arguments to read files outside the configured output directory, and to overwrite such files where they are writable, via relative file paths that resolve against the process current working directory. |
| A vulnerability has been found in R6410418 Jackrong-llm-finetuning-guide up to ef2b17f2798cd18cd85375080c35a58397ad0d09. This vulnerability affects the function extract_mtp_heads of the file qwen-mtp-gguf/scripts/qwen_mtp_gguf_pipeline.py of the component MTP weight_map Handler. The manipulation of the argument shard_name leads to path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| HKUDS Vibe-Trading from 0.1.0 before 0.1.7 contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows remote attackers to read sensitive server files through LLM agent file-read tools. Attackers can prompt the agent to invoke read_document, which lacks sandbox checks, or safe_user_path-gated tools to leak /etc/shadow, /proc/self/environ API keys, and /root credentials. |
| Vitest is a Vite-native testing framework for JavaScript and TypeScript projects. From 4.1.11 until 4.1.12 and 5.0.3, isFileLoadingAllowed and the filesystem read interpret backslashes differently on Windows in packages/mocker/src/node/interceptorPlugin.ts. When a client can reach the Vite dev server on Windows and register a redirect mock containing backslash traversal, POSIX joining preserves a Windows backslash traversal that the later filesystem read interprets as a path separator, so the client can read a file outside server.fs.allow that the Vitest process can access. This issue is fixed in versions 4.1.12 and 5.0.3. |
| Argo CD is a declarative, GitOps continuous delivery tool for Kubernetes. From 0.9.0 until 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2, the repo-server evaluates .jsonnet files with an importer that does not confine import, importstr, or importbin to the repository root. Absolute paths, parent-directory traversal, and repository symlinks can open any file readable by the repo-server, including /proc/self/environ, projected service-account tokens, mounted private keys, and repository credentials. Although generated Secrets are redacted, placing imported contents in a ConfigMap returns the data to the caller. Using importstr on a non-terminating device such as /dev/zero can exhaust repo-server memory. An attacker can commit a .jsonnet file to a Git repository used by an Application or upload the file through POST /api/v1/applications/manifestsWithFiles, also exposed by argocd app diff --local --server-side-generate. Directory applications evaluate every .jsonnet file in the application directory. The upload path requires only Application get permission on an existing directory Application, without Application update or sync permission or repository write access. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.15, 3.4.10, 3.5.4, and 3.6.0-rc2. |
| Wing FTP Server does not verify user's base folder. An attacker with admin privileges can add user directories via scripts, allowing the added directories to escape the base folder. This allows the attacker to write files on the system and can lead to remote code execution with process owner privileges.Critically, since the installation guide mentions running the command with `sudo`, the files are created as “root.”
This issue was fixed in version 8.2.6. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure. |
| Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, Feature Release versions 7.7.1.0 through 8.8, LTS2024 release versions 7.13.1.0 through 7.13.1.80, LTS2025 release versions 8.3.1.0 through 8.3.1.40, LTS2026 release versions 8.6.1.0 through 8.6.1.20, contain an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to filesystem access for attacker. |

An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Filesystem access for attacker. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in HAVELSAN Inc. Liman MYS allows Path Traversal.
This issue affects Liman MYS: before 2.3.5-1132. |
| A flaw was found in GNU patch. An attacker can achieve arbitrary file creation outside the intended working directory by enticing a user or automated workflow to apply a specially crafted patch file. Due to missing validation during automatic patch reversal, absolute file paths in patch headers are accepted rather than rejected. Consequently, the utility can create files in arbitrary locations with the permissions of the executing user. |
| Roundcube Webmail before 1.6.20 and 1.7.x before 1.7.5 is affected by a path traversal vulnerability in the squirrelmail_usercopy plugin. With the file based backend, the source path was built from the login name without rejecting path separators, so a login name containing a slash could cause files outside the configured squirrelmail_data_dir to be read and imported. Upstream fixed this in the commit “Fix unsafe use of a login name in SquirrelMail import file path”, which rejects login names containing a slash. |
| A weakness has been identified in leomoon-studios wiki-go up to 1.9.1. Affected by this vulnerability is the function SaveHandler/SourceHandler of the file internal/handlers/editor.go of the component API. Executing a manipulation can lead to path traversal. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.9.2 addresses this issue. This patch is called 94f7e73ef8df7c58091d72d77a5e26e9fdad98b8. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
