CVSS v3.1 |
| Grafana is an open-source platform for monitoring and observability. Prior to versions 8.5.16 and 9.2.8, malicious user can create a snapshot and arbitrarily choose the `originalUrl` parameter by editing the query, thanks to a web proxy. When another user opens the URL of the snapshot, they will be presented with the regular web interface delivered by the trusted Grafana server. The `Open original dashboard` button no longer points to the to the real original dashboard but to the attacker’s injected URL. This issue is fixed in versions 8.5.16 and 9.2.8. |
| NULL Pointer Dereference in GitHub repository gpac/gpac prior to 1.1.0. |
| A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability has been reported to affect several QNAP operating system versions. The remote attackers can then exploit the vulnerability to launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following versions:
QTS 5.2.7.3297 build 20251024 and later
QuTS hero h5.2.7.3297 build 20251024 and later
QuTS hero h5.3.1.3292 build 20251024 and later |
| Unsafe reflection in the connection parameter and credentials profile handling of Amazon Redshift JDBC Driver before 2.3.0 might allow an actor who can influence the JDBC connection URL or the AWS credentials profile to execute arbitrary code in the application context, provided a suitable class is available on the application classpath.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 2.3.0 or later. |
| HDF5 through 2.2.0 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in H5HL_unprotect() in src/H5HL.c. H5HL_protect() pins a single metadata cache entry for a local heap, either the heap prefix or the separate data block, and H5HL_unprotect() unpins it on the final unprotect. When the metadata cache destroys a corrupted local heap entry, H5HL__prfx_dest() unlinks it from the heap by setting heap->prfx or heap->dblk to NULL. A crafted HDF5 file can therefore reach H5HL_unprotect() with no cached object to unpin, and the function passes the NULL pointer to H5AC_unpin_entry(). This causes an assertion failure in debug builds and a NULL pointer dereference and crash in release builds. An attacker who can get a user or application to open and traverse a malicious file can cause a denial of service. |
| The GridFS file download API in the MongoDB C Driver does not check the result of an internal operation under certain error conditions during file retrieval. This can cause the process to terminate when stream operations continue. A user who can influence file download parameters can trigger this condition, which may result in service unavailability for applications using the affected API. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
asymmetric_keys: reject trust keys without IDs
The PKCS#8 parser deliberately leaves the asym_key_ids payload slot
empty. key_or_keyring_common() unconditionally dereferences that slot
when a PKCS#8 key is supplied to a key_or_keyring restriction. Both the
plain and :chain forms reach this branch, allowing an unprivileged caller
to trigger a NULL pointer dereference through KEYCTL_RESTRICT_KEYRING
followed by add_key().

valid trust anchor. |
| A null pointer dereference was addressed with improved validation. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7.2 and iPadOS 26.7.2, iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2. An attacker in physical proximity may be able to cause a denial-of-service. |
| NULL Pointer Dereference (CWE-476) in the AMQP protocol parser in Packetbeat can lead to denial of service via specially crafted network traffic. An unauthenticated attacker who can send traffic on a network segment that Packetbeat monitors for AMQP can cause a Go runtime panic that terminates the Packetbeat process. A single crafted packet is sufficient. No AMQP authentication is necessary. While Packetbeat is not running, it does not collect network telemetry. |
| A flaw was found in mod_cluster's AdvertiseListenerImpl (org.jboss.modcluster core module). A single crafted UDP multicast datagram with a valid HTTP status line and a "Server:" header but without the "Date:", "Digest:", and "Sequence:" headers triggers a NullPointerException in verifyDigest() that is not caught by the worker thread's exception handler. This causes the advertise listener thread to terminate permanently. The failure is silent (isListening() continues to return true) and persists until the node is restarted. The crash occurs before the AdvertiseSecurityKey comparison, so deployments with a configured security key are still affected. |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a denial of service vulnerability where rdg_process_packet dispatches a PKT_TYPE_EXTENDED_AUTH_MSG without verifying negotiated mode or auth context. A malicious or compromised RD Gateway can send the extended-auth packet before tunnel authentication, triggering a null-pointer dereference that crashes the client. |
| Forge (also called node-forge) is a native implementation of Transport Layer Security in JavaScript. Prior to 1.4.1, the affected implementation used forge.tls.createConnection(), c.session.serverCertificate, RSA key exchange to process the relevant input or security decision. node-forge's TLS client checked the wrong property when deciding whether a server certificate was missing. A malicious TLS server or on-path peer could omit the Certificate message and reach code that dereferenced the absent certificate, causing an uncaught exception and terminating the connection or process. This issue is fixed in version 1.4.1. |
| A NULL pointer dereference in the Linux GPU driver could potentially lead to a kernel crash and result in denial of service. |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability that allows malicious RDP servers to crash xfreerdp clients by sending a zero-width RDPGFX ResetGraphics PDU. The failed resize in gdi_resize_ex leaves the primary display null without ending the session, so a later bitmap update crashes the client in gdi_Bitmap_Paint. |
| SOEM version 2.0.0 and earlier contains a vulnerability where a malicious device can crash the master system. When the software receives an error response, it clears an internal pointer but continues processing. If another message arrives before timeout, the software attempts to use the cleared pointer, causing a crash. An attacker can trigger this with a simple sequence of two messages. |
| libcss through 0.9.2 contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in mq_parse_media_query() that allows remote attackers to crash consumers by supplying media lists ending in a comma. Attackers can serve a stylesheet whose @media or @import media list has a trailing comma, causing NetSurf or other parsers to crash. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gpio: shared: gracefully handle no-device lookup of shared GPIOs
We use platform lookup tables for shared GPIOs. This mechanism needs a
struct device to work so fwnode-based lookup with no device associated
currently causes a NULL-pointer deference.
Adding this functionality will require a larger rework and it has never
worked anyway so add a check that allows the kernel to gracefully handle
this situation with an error ahead of implementing that functionality as
a new feature. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Do not initialize tracefs work if tracing is disabled
If trace buffer allocation fails during early boot (e.g. in
early_trace_init() -> allocate_trace_buffers()), tracing_disabled is
left set to 1 and the global trace array events list remains
uninitialized.
Later during boot, tracer_init_tracefs() (invoked via fs_initcall)
queues tracerfs_init_work asynchronously without checking if tracing was
disabled. When tracer_init_tracefs_work_func() runs, it calls
event_trace_init() and init_tracer_tracefs(&global_trace, NULL)
unconditionally. This leads to __find_event_file() dereferencing an
uninitialized tr->events list, causing an early boot NULL pointer
dereference Oops:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv4: stop route notification sizing when nexthop group shrinks
Commit 680aea08e78c ("net: ipv4: Emit notification when fib
hardware flags are changed") added an RCU-only fib_nlmsg_size() call
for asynchronous hardware flag notifications.
fib_nlmsg_size() checks fib_info_num_path() before each iteration,
then fib_info_nhc() independently reloads nh->nh_grp. If
RTM_NEWNEXTHOP replaces a group with fewer paths between those loads,
fib_info_nhc() returns NULL and fib_nexthop_nlmsg_size() dereferences
it.
Stop sizing when the indexed path is absent. Nexthop groups are
dense, so the current snapshot has no later path. |
| In Eclipse ThreadX NetX Duo versions 6.0 through 6.5.2.202603a, built with BSD raw socket and IPv6 support, the IPv6 raw send path uses the destination-table entry it adds without checking that the add succeeded. When the destination table is full and an off-link destination is reached through a default router whose neighbour cache entry is unknown, sending on an IPv6 raw socket with header inclusion dereferences a NULL pointer; a remote sender can fill the table, for example with ICMPv6 Packet Too Big messages, and crash the sending thread. |
