CVSS v3.1 |
| storage/pkg/archive.ApplyLayer and ApplyUncompressedLayer may, when processing corrupt or malicious inputs, leak a file descriptor; unbounded repeated calls can exhaust the process’ file descriptor
limit |
| A denial-of-service and resource exhaustion vulnerability exists within the `GDBus` component of GLib. The `gdbusauth` authentication mechanism fails to enforce proper length limitations on data lines read from a client. An unauthenticated local or remote attacker can exploit this lack of input validation by sending excessively long streams of data, causing the application to consume massive amounts of system memory and CPU, potentially leading to a crash or system hang. |
| A flaw was found in libtirpc. An authenticated remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending oversized wrapped data requests to an RPC (Remote Procedure Call) service configured with RPCSEC_GSS (Remote Procedure Call Security-Generic Security Service) integrity or privacy. This can lead to unbounded memory allocation, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) by exhausting system resources and causing the service to become unstable or terminate. |
| Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling vulnerability in Drupal Examples for Developers allows Excessive Allocation. This issue affects Examples for Developers versions: from 0.0.0 to 4.0.7. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: fix capability check in xfs
An user reported a bug where he managed to evade group's quota
by changing a file's gid to a different group id the same user
belonged to, even though quotas were enforced on both gids and the
file's size was big enough to exceed the quota's hardlimit.
Commit eba0549bc7d1 replaced a capable() call by a
has_capability_noaudit() to prevent unnecessary selinux audit messages.
Turns out that both calls have slightly different semantics even though
their documentation seems similar. Where in a nutshell:
capable() - Tests the task's effective credentials
has_ns_capability_noaudit() - Tests the task's real credentials
This most of the time has no practical difference but in some cases like
changing attrs (specifically group id in this case) through a NFS client
this will allow the quota code to use XFS_QMOPT_FORCE_RES, effectively
bypassing quota accounting checks.
Using instead ns_capable_noaudit() should fix this issue and prevent
selinux audit messages.
This also fix the remaining calls to has_capability_noaudit() |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: fix GEM object leak on ENOMEM in userptr ioctl
When amdgpu_hmm_range_alloc() fails amdgpu_gem_userptr_ioctl() returns
-ENOMEM right away and skips the cleanup every other error path goes
through. The GEM object, the bo->parent reference on the VM root and the
MMU notifier registration are all left behind.
Use release_object here, not user_pages_done, range is still NULL at
this point.

| A remote attacker may be able to terminate a process that passes attacker-controlled input to the P-384 VOPRF API without bounding its length. This vulnerability is addressed in swift-crypto version 5.0.3. |
| A allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.6, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiOS 7.0 all versions, FortiOS 6.4 all versions may allow an unauthenticated attacker to perform a slow HTTP DoS attack on the web interface via crafted HTTP requests. |
| An Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in a Command ('Command Injection') vulnerability [CWE-77] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiSandbox 5.2.0, FortiSandbox 5.0.0 through 5.0.6, FortiSandbox 4.4.0 through 4.4.9, FortiSandbox 4.2 all versions may allow a privileged attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands via crafted HTTP requests. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.21.3, pypdf can consume excessive memory while opening a crafted PDF containing cross-reference streams that declare very large entry counts. Highly compressible streams and /Prev chains can multiply the number of parsed entries across a document, while negative /Index counts can bypass the existing per-stream clamp. This issue is fixed in version 6.21.3. |
| Wasmtime before 36.0.18, 37.0.0 before 48.0.6, and 49.0.0 before 49.0.3 caps component-model resource handle tables only per component instance and does not charge handle allocations to any ResourceLimiter or StoreLimits. A malicious guest can repeatedly call resource.new and instantiate sub-components to exceed the per-instance cap many times over, causing unbounded host memory growth. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Z.ai Zcode up to 3.14.3/3.15.1. Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component Sed Command Filter. The manipulation leads to os command injection. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| A vulnerability has been found in continuedev Continue 2.0.0. This vulnerability affects the function MCPManagerSingleton.setConnections of the file core/config/ConfigHandler.ts of the component MCP Server Transport. Such manipulation leads to os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: unlock inode and extent in caller when io_uring read extent fails
btrfs_uring_read_extent() runs only after btrfs_encoded_read() has taken
the inode shared lock and the extent lock. On failure it used to unlock
in out_fail, and a pages-array allocation failure returned -ENOMEM
without unlocking at all.
Unlock in the caller instead on all failure returns, matching the
copy_to_user() error path. The deferred -EIOCBQUEUED path still unlocks
in btrfs_uring_read_finished(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: thunderx: fix PTP device ref leak in nicvf_probe()
cavium_ptp_get() acquires a reference to the PTP PCI device
through pci_get_device(). If any initialization step fails
after cavium_ptp_get(), the PTP PCI device reference is leaked.
Add a common error path to release the PTP reference before
returning from probe failures. |
| Zebra before 4.5.0 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability that allows remote P2P peers to exhaust blocking-pool threads by sending oversized block locator vectors. Attackers can send getblocks or getheaders messages with up to 65,535 locator hashes, triggering per-hash chain lookups that degrade block validation, RPC, and mempool performance. |
| ImageMagick before 7.1.2-33 contains a policy bypass vulnerability in the UHDR decoder that allows attackers to evade image width and height limits because extent checks occur after decoding. Attackers can supply crafted UHDR images with oversized dimensions that are fully decoded before policy limits are enforced, causing excessive resource consumption. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mlxsw: spectrum_flower: Fix port range register leak in tmplt_create()
mlxsw_sp_flower_tmplt_create() parses a flow_cls_offload template
into a stack-local struct mlxsw_sp_acl_rule_info purely to compute
rulei.values.elusage. Parsing can acquire port range registers via
mlxsw_sp_flower_parse_ports_range(), but since this rulei never goes
through mlxsw_sp_acl_rulei_destroy(), those registers were never
released, including through chain template deletion.
Factor out of mlxsw_sp_acl_rulei_destroy() the code to actually
release the necessary resources and call from
mlxsw_sp_flower_tmplt_create() to plug the leak.
The issue was found during a review of Wentao Liang's patch referenced
below. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: free iov when btrfs_uring_read_extent() fails
After btrfs_uring_read_extent(), the caller always jumped to out_acct.
That skips kfree(data->iov), which is only correct for -EIOCBQUEUED
where the deferred path owns the iov. On failure, fall through to
out_free instead. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
namespace: check a recursive bind mount for mount namespace loops
do_loopback() refuses to bind mount the file of a mount namespace that
is as old as the caller's or older because a mount namespace that holds
a mount of its own file, or of an ancestor's, would cause a cycle. But
it only checks the dentry the bind mount starts from. With MS_REC
everything below it is copied and do_loopback() passes
CL_COPY_MNT_NS_FILE so mount namespace files below the source are
copied.
That's fine for a source in the caller's own mount namespace. Every
mount namespace file in there passed the same check when it was
bind-mounted. It isn't fine for a source in another mount namespace.
may_copy_tree() accepts a bind mount of any nsfs or pidfs file no matter
what mount namespace it lives in so that /proc/<pid>/ns/<ns> and pidfds
can be bind mounted. If we create a bind-mount stack of mount namespaces
file descriptors the kernel will copy them irrespective of their
ancestoral relationship to the mount namespace in question:
151 146 0:7 net:[4026531833] /tmp/nrc/y rw - nsfs nsfs rw
152 151 0:7 mnt:[4026532293] /tmp/nrc/y rw - nsfs nsfs rw
Mount 152 is a mount of the mount namespace file of mount namespace
4026532293 inside mount namespace 4026532293. That namespace and every
mount in it are leaked... All it takes is a process in an older mount
namespace that stacks the file and repeating it leaks without limit:
after control: Shmem: 380 kB
child: mount(/proc/self/fd/6, MS_BIND|MS_REC): ok
after cycle: Shmem: 65916 kB
do_move_mount() runs check_for_nsfs_mounts() over a detached tree for
exactly that reason. Do the same for the copy before it is grafted. |
